Hello Bob here
If you are having numbness and tingling that is generally caused by trapped nerves, the doctor will be able to prescribe additional medications to your condition, Go to the GP there is nothing too worry about
All the best
BOB
Thanks so much for your help god bless u
I have cervical spondulosis (OA) in my neck and I get tingling and numbness in my hands from time to time, If I were you I'd ask for a neck X Ray.
Yes I do have that a lot thanks I will talk to my doctors god bless I hop u get better soon
Yes, also the GP can refer you for a nerve conduction test to see whether carpal tunnel syndrome is involved. Suex
Thanks I just se my doctor and he refer me to hospital for spriting for my hands thank u very much god bless u
I thought my problem of severe tingling and sometimes a sense burning in my hands was either as a result of my spondylosis or arthritis but turned out to be carpel tunnel syndrome for which Iv'e had a successful op on one hand and awaiting same on other. I found out that if the carpel tunnel was the problem and that it only affects the thumb and next two fingers and that half of the palm.the medium nerve suppies this half of the hand and sometimes becomes compressed by the ligament that runs across the wrist. Although without studying the hand closely it feels like the whole hand is affected. The surgeon made me aware of this as a sure way of identifying if it is carpel tunnel syndrome. Suggest you ask your doctor to send you for a test. The only way is by elimination of symptoms that you'll know your problem. And that's what your doctor is well paid to investigate
