hello everyone,

just an update on how i am getting on after all those great and supporting cooments on my last blog. the carbogem combination seems to be treating me a lot gentler so far. no major side effects yet!!! just poor taste tingling hands and feet and tiredness. great considering last time i thought i was dying. The children are at home and TV is quite packed at the moment so i am resting. i cant get out for a daily walk because of the bitter cold. But i am getting on and when i hear of all the people out there who are coping magnificiently with so much more it makes me feel stronger. may you all have a great christmas and a healthy and happy new year!! love Parvin xx

I'm so glad the chemo is getting a bit more bearable .....I know it's not, but you're coping so well, you're convincing yourself Enjoy all the love from family and friends and all the treats you can enjoy over the Christmas period, and I hope 2012 is a good one for you

Dear Parvinc, I'm so glad for you that you're feeling better with this session of chemotherapy. I hope you enjoy the break over the next week or so - having said that it's hardly a break when the children are home from school.
