Hi Charlie,
Saw your other post too about getting together.
I also have a comprehensive profile and am 45. Not anywhere near as young as you, but it was still a huge blow (as it is to all of us). I hope you find hope, support and companionship from those who are going through similar issues to you here in this group.
Love Lizzie

Hi Charlie
I'm probably old enough to be your Granny [63] but very good luck!!
Since I was diagonsed I have been telling everyone my story as raising awareness of symptoms seems to be a big issue.
Is 'The Healing Journey' a place or a course? Sounds a great idea- anything to help.
Love Anne
Hi Charlie - Like Anne-2 I am granny material at 71 but I wish you luck all the same I too talk about symptoms all the time as raising awareness is vital. It is easier to be pragmatic about outcomes at my age - I did not expect to have all that long to go anyway! LOL. I just keep reminding myself of all the conditions I could have that would be much worse!
I am especially concerned for young women and am not shy about asking pregnant looking young women if they are and if not telling them to make a fuss about getting tested. Early diagnosis can mean it is curable. Not having your own children can be a dreadful prospect but you can still love children and contribute to their lives. Good luck!
