Dear Amanda, I love the teddy. Your sister is very talented to be able to make something like that. I think it's such a good idea to combine your birthday and fundraising. Xxx Annie

Hi,

I'm Amanda's sister, thank you to everyone for all the nice things you've been saying about my little bear - yes it is often very hard to part with them and Hope has been one of my recent favourites. Amanda suggested I should sign up so she doesn't have to keep relaying your comments :)

Hi Belinda,

It is a good idea to sign up...not everyone on here has OC but people are carers or family...but you have been touched by OC as well ...I would think you were really worried about your sister so welcome to our site... and again I will say a beautiful bear and Hope is our favourite as well...love x G x :-)

Hi Belinda

Your teddy has the most beautiful face, no wonder it is named Hope. Cannot think of a more apt or beautiful name for Him/her! Thankyou

Hi Sue,

I hate to admit this but the faces tend to develop their own character somehow no matter how I actually want them to look - maybe its something to do with making them so small or maybe the bears decide for themselves...? But I'm glad that Hope turned out to be such a sweetie :)

How tall was the bear? I thought it looked like a miniature one in the photo, but I couldn't work out what it was standing on, and there is nothing else to provide a scale! It's beautiful, whatever the size!

Hi BJ,

Thank you :) you're right, Hope is small, she is just a fraction over 3 inches or around 8cm, she's standing on some railing down at St. Margaret's Bay. I only make miniatures as I find them easier than bigger bears.
