how do you know what stage your in? ive never been told

I was diagnosed with breast and oc last year and was put on chemo immediately which is working but they wont operate as they say i wont benefit just wanted to know how to tell what stage you are at as ive never been told thanks shaz

Your GP will be able to tell you which stage describes your disease.

Hi Shaz.

Write down all your questions before you go to see the oncologist like what stage/ what grade/ prognosis etc they will try to answer them and if you still feel you haven't got answers ring your clinical specialist nurses and ask them to clarify.

when I recently saw my oncologist a fire alarm went off that they had difficulty in switching it off. so when I left my head was buzzing and very unclear in what I was told, so I requested another appointment, which was much easier to take in on a

second visit( and this time I wrote the questions I had going round in my head down)

Yes thats good advise gwyneth as I always forget things.

will check out macmillan as im always on there.

i think deep down i dont want to ask as it maybe worse than im thinking
