I found the best general book to be Anti Cancer, by Dr David Servan Schrieber. As far as I know there is no book that is better.

David Servan Schreiber's book is good as Chrystynh says. I also found 'Cancer's a Word not a sentence' by Fiona Castle to be useful. It is a 'no nonsense' book that covers everything that a patient wishes to know including diet. I borrowed it from the Penny Brohn centre library but it is very cheap on Amazon also.

Hi,

The penny brown cancer care will send you out details on what foods are recommended and what supplements they advise as well. You can register on their website.

They also hold living well courses which cover nutrition and cookery demonstrations.

I went on a course with them recently and am doing well with what they recommend.

Dear INLF

I know that Macmillan also do a booklet on recipes for cancer patients.....not sure what it's title is!? but you can ring them and they'll send it to you free of charge.

Best wishes
