NICE colostomy consultation - invitation to Ovacome focus group

Good morning everyone,

We have been contacted by the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) as they are currently undertaking an assessment looking at one-piece closed stoma bags for adults with a colostomy. We would like to contribute to this assessment by making a submission as we are really keen to share the experiences and views of members of our community who have a stoma as a result of treatment for ovarian cancer and have used one-piece closed stoma bags. If you would be interested in sharing your experiences to be included in our submission, it would be great to hear from you.

We are holding a focus group meeting on 13 June at 11:30am over Zoom which will be an opportunity to come together in a group setting to share experiences of using one-piece closed stoma bags. During this session there will be an opportunity to discuss your experiences of using one-piece closed stoma bags including your experiences of trying different stoma bags and what features have been important to you.
