I last posted a few weeks ago. My name is Emma & i'm 36. My story started with IBS symptoms. I went to the GP a few times, & then they did a ca125 test, which gave a reading of 804. I had an internal examination & they felt a mass. After an ultrasound confirmed a complex ovarian cyst, I've since had a CT & MRI scan. I got the MRI results today, and I have got endometriosis, & I've got endometriosis cysts on each ovary. I'm waiting for my pre-op & my op to have them taken away. I'm feeling nervous about it all, but i just wanted to say thank you for all the support that i have received from you all. This is an amazing site, that offers support to everyone who posts on it. I find you all truly inspirational when I read your stories and posts. .
I just wanted to wish you all the best.
Love Emma x

Dear Emma,
Thank you for letting us know, I wish you all the very best for a good outcome.
Dear Emma, how lovely of you to post and let us know how everything is going. I hope the surgery goes well. Don't be nervous. It's amazing what these surgeons can do and I'm sure you'll get lots of support and kindness from the nurses too.
Good luck with the surgery Emma , being so young I am sure that you will find it fine. But do rest as much as you can . The doctors will probably need to do more extensive surgery to remove all the endometriosis.
Good luck Emma, hope it all goes well and youre home again soon xx
Thanks for letting us know and good luck with the treatment! xx
Hi Emma .. It's really nice of you to post in this way .. and while I'm so sorry you have endometriosis .. which I know is a difficult disease in itself, I'm really glad it's not like this one for your sake. I know you'll start to feel a lot better after your treatment. Take good care .. Love to you. T xx
Good luck Emma! Sure you will get through just fine
Hi Emma, thanks for letting us know. I am really pleased that its not Ovarian cancer. Wishing you all the best for your surgery and a speedy recovery. Ann x
I have just had a hysterectomy for borderline OC and have found the Hysterectomy Association message boards really helpful. I joined a monthly club and you can go through the process with other supportive ladies who are going through similar things.
