Hi molste l am 3c and I had it twice and had to have my tummy drained twice once I started my chemo it didn't happen again it is very uncomfortable and my tummy was realy swallon hope I have been some help

My wife did She on 3C Gone with 6 chemos and followed by operation after that

Hi Molste, I am 4a and it was ascites that made it clear I had ovarian cancer. At least for me already after 1 chemo it started to disappear so actually first 3 chemo were positive experience for me as my pains disappeared. I could eat sth, sleep and lay on the side or tummy again.

When I was diagnosed stage IIIC I had ascites. They did 3 rounds of chemo and I felt so much better. They did the debulking surgery and then 3 more rounds of chemo.

I was diagnosed stage 3b in 2017. I had ascities, I had it drained. Chemo mopped up the rest.

Hi, 2022 I got diagnosed with 3C because of ascites, during biopsy they drains it. Had 4 chemos debulking HIPEC and another chemo, followed by 16 Avastins.

Recently my CA125 started to rise, 2 weeks ago the ascites came back and CA125 is 434.

Pet was clear 8 weeks ago and ultrasound showed only fluid in my belly.

I’m going back on chemo next week as my onco doesn’t want any cells growing into tumors.

Ascitis is/ was ,the only symptom I ever had.Otherwise I’m really fit and active and eat clean food.

I was diagnosed with stage 3 c in 2019. After my op, I was diagnosed stage 4. I also had ascites, but felt better after chemo and surgery.
