I’ve have several recurrences, I’ve been treated quite successfully each time however it has come back. There are always trials that may be suitable. I’m now in my 9th year since diagnosis-do don’t think I would still be here but am grateful for each day. It’s a hard slog, get support where you can and try to stay positive

Nope. To be honest I was told I had a couple of years on diagnosis so I thought I’m going to live my life my way for however long I have. Prob the one thing I did that paid off is to take part in clinical trials. I’ve been monitored closely (done 3).

I was diagnosed in August 2013 and had a recurrence in 2017 and again in 2022. I had three surgeries, chemotherapy for six months after the first and a course of radiotherapy after the third. Since my last recurrence and surgery in May 2022 all my scans are clear. Immense gratitude that I continue to live in relatively good health. My life has certainly changed with regard to work and I only work part time hours now. I also can’t believe that I am still going strong but I am!!! The very best of luck!!! X

Hi there. I was originally diagnosed 3c OC in 2018 debulk op and chemo. I was then fine but had my first recurrence May 2023. I had 6 cycles of chemo - CA125 was 514 and at the end 19. As I reacted well to chemo I have just started Parp Inhibitors with no side effects. It’s a scary time when it comes back but go through the motions and it gets better. Good luck and take care xx

I was diagnosed stage 4 in 2000,had four recurrences.five surgeries, chemotherapy and radiotherapy then suddenly no recurrence since 2011.I am left with two stomas which create problems and joint problems from chemo but I am still here at 72 much to the surprise of my consultant.Good luck.
