Just looking for some support really, I had been waiting for a gynaecologist appointment and US for six months due to worsening endometriosis symptoms, bloating, urine frequency etc.
I have had the scan an it shows a small complex cyst with vascular septations. I have had a previous right oopherectomy and both tubes removed for endometriosis/borderline cells.
I am sick with worry, I can’t stop googling.
GP has done 2week suspected cancer referral and I’m waiting on the results of my Ca 125
Thanks for reading x

The waiting for results/having tests is horrible.. I am so sorry that you are having to endure this.
Please please do yourself a favour and stop googling. If you are desperate for information speak to the Ovacome helpline, they will make sure you get up to date verified data…not spooktastic scaremongering!
Consider this, the worst did happen to me: I was diagnosed stage 4 but that was nearly 9 years ago, I am still here enjoying my life.
You may be worrying unnecessarily, you may find it is something else entirely.
Try if you can to distract yourself, reach out to friends and family if you feel up to it. Keep an open mind.
I had US which showed up similar to you but normal CA125 so I was put as low risk and it was removed 8 months later but came back endometrioid OC probably from Endometriosis. In early stage it does not show on CA125 so don’t be fobbed off like I was. Had to have second debulking operation 10 weeks after first op and had gone into next stage. Good luck.
Hi Last scan was “clear at the moment” so relieved to a point. My endometriosis had never been diagnosed so nothing in my history to suggest anything other than an ovarian cyst. What concerns me most was the lack of knowledge about the CA125 not being a reliable test. Knowledge s power with this disease. Good luck.
