tummy bug

I’m stage 3c diagnosed 2019 recurrence 2022, at Easter I was in hospital with blocked bowel, I was lucky to have it cleared, my question is I spent two days with a friend who ended up with a tummy bug which I caught Thursday evening, had sickness but no diahorrea my tummy is very swollen and hard and I still feel unwell . Anyone had tummy bug and how did u manage it, I can only drink small amounts

Hi, if you're not passing motion or wind, have vomiting and a swollen hard tummy it would be sensible to go to A&E to make sure you don't have another blockage. Better safe than sorry!Best wishes for a quick recovery x

thank you so much for replying.. after a couple of uncomfortable days thank goodness things have settled! I was on the verge of an a and e visit but things took a turn for the better 😊

Hi. I just want to second going to A and E. You could well have another blockage. I hope not but better safe than sorry.

Thank you Delia. Im feeling better thank goodness will have a chat with my oncologist at my next visit. Im having a few bowel issues and the tummy bug didn’t help but im pickingnup now..
