This is good news that it hasn't spread past the ovary. Mine did into the peritoneal and omentum. Had surgery and they got all but a small amount that I'm receiving chemo for 9 weeks now. Blessings to you, pray for great outcome.

Hi Cazy1010

I was diagnosed with fallopian cancer staged at 2a HGS following Hysterectomy and removal of Omentum, I had tumours on both ovaries. I had 6 rounds of chemo Taxol and Carboplatin and have been NED for 3 years.

At 2a it is early stage and chemo was not has hard as I feared. You can do this Cazy 🥰

So happy for you! Wonderful news. Did the Dr put you on a maintenance drug to prevent further cancer? My Dr has mentioned she will be discussing it this week. Just want one with little side affects that works? Would greatly appreciate some direction in what to do..

Hi Jacqiemoo

I wasn’t put on any maintenance drugs. I believe they are for if the Cancer had spread to other areas/organs. I was lucky my cancer was found in both fallopian tubes and Ovaries only.

Hopefully the wonderful ladies on this site who are on the maintenance drugs will be able to share their experiences of some of them.

Sending gentle hugs 🤗

Hi CazI'm on my 3rd chemo now and it does get better. First one you learn how it effects you then you can prepare for all the other rounds. First couple of days wipe me out but really not as bad as I was imagining.

I'm back at work part time now too.

All here for you if you need any support or guidance xxx

hi Cazy! Ok so this is good news, and thankfully the wait is over at last! Plus, it’s treatable and you are early stage, so now you can be confident that you’re on a path of treatment that you can manage. We are here with you!!

I’m sorry it’s positive but it’s an earlier stage and should be quite treatable. Good luck with chemo. I’m sending positive thoughts your way. Xx

Hi Cazy, Sounds like really positive news that it's been caught at a stage where its easier to contain. Hopefully you won't need much treatment.

Best wishes to you
