Does anyone still feel fatigued or nauseated after being in remission? I'm 2 years NED and still don't feel back to my normal self.

Has anyone been in remission a while but still don't feel the way you did before diagnosis? I'm 2 years NED but still don't have the energy I did before, oh, and brain fog. I do take Zejula, but I'd think by now I should have energy and not feel nauseous so often.

Hi. Those are typical side effects of Zejula/Niraparib. I just was taken off Olaparib after three years and am slowly feeling more normal. Of course I still have neuropathy but I’m expecting to regain my energy and normal sense of taste and hopefully to have fewer hot flashes. I don’t know what dose you’re on but maybe it could be reduced? Xx

Hi Delia. I'm on 200 mg. They prefer keeping it there because I do tolerate side effects, I'm just tired of them. I'm in my third year on it. One Dr wants me off it and the other wants me on it longer since it's apparently worked. I'm happy to hear I'm not the only one who has lost energy, taste, etc.

Thankyou for asking this. I too am in remission and take Niraparib/ Zejula. I was ok at first but gradually more and more tired and wake up feeling nauseous. I was worried it might be something else. Am on 300 mg but my oncologist doesn’t want to reduce it yet. I also have neuropathy. Xxx

I can understand them not wanting to reduce it only because this medication apparently works. I was on 300mg but had to go down to 200 because my blood work was awful and my magnesium became very low. I have to take 1600mg supplements now even being on the lower dose of zejula. How long have you been taking it?

hi, I joined a trial for lack of energy, you either get some mindfulness type exercises or some gentle physical exercises, the lady running it is very kind and helpful and keeps in touch weekly for support

I found the trial on here posted by Ovacome, it’s called GEMS I think and it’s only for a few weeks, maybe try that?

take care x
