Another Consultant change

Just had a letter from the hospital to say Consultant has left the trust and they are recruiting .This will be No.7 in 3 years, its unsettling to not have any continuity. I have only actually met 3 of the past Consultants.

This is difficult, as you tend to get someone new,and hopefully trust,who knows your history. I have had 4 different Oncologists,but this was due to house moves over 7 years. I have found that they all have many different views on treatment etc. On the whole though i have been lucky.

I am the same. Started off with someone who was new to hospital, had her for a while then got someone more simpatico. She has now left and I have someone else. I am the only one who knows my history. Sucks. But I feel your frustration. x
