Those of you suffering in the heat

I have just taken delivery of a neck fan. Id never heard of them, but looked on line on recommendation and it came today. Its great for cooling the face and I should think anyone suffering from hot flushes would benefit. Sort of a tube with fans inside, you dont have blades near your face ! Hands free .

I bought one last week for a friend who's hot all the time - I tried it, but didn't like the cold air going over the sides of my neck and lower jaw, where I tend to get a lot of stiffness and pain, wasn't sure the cold air blowing over the area wouldn't trigger it all off. I wish the air vents were at the back of the neck, where I do tend to get very hot, but my friend absolutely loves hers...

I brought one last year when I started having hot flushes, I wouldn't be with out it. You can take it anywhere with you

Neck fans are good. Also recommend cold blankets. Mine was about £30 on eBay and has had daily use ever since.
