Increase of Ca125.Maybe Keytruda???

Hello beautifull ladies.Hope you are in positive spirits no matter what.I wanted your advice please. Did any one of you experienced increased ca 125 after keytruda but MRI shows nothing wrong..Pet scan shows activities...Every week CA125 increases by 8..Did you start chemo??.Thank you

I did a course of Keytruda successfully, but my situation is different from yours in that my ca125 has never been a good indicator for me (has stayed low). My oncologist uses both PET scans and MRI to see if anything is active, but sometimes things show up that she thinks are not clear-cut. So far, wait and watch has worked for me (6 year survivor). Sorry that my experience is not much help to you in making a decision about further treatment, but best of luck as you consider your options. Deb in Colorado

Thank you soo much Deb..I am going for Doxil with Avastin today.I feel good just this spike in CA 125 is alarming...For me before Kwytruda CA 125 was good indicator that's why doctor is worried. Although MRI wasn't bad at all Pet showed activity..Well see Thank you dear..I am in California and I hope soon they'll find the miracle drug..God Bless You

Not many of us have had Keytruda, that's why I wanted to respond even though my experience is not the same. I tried Doxil before the Keytruda with no result, FYI. Definitely hoping that science keeps finding ways to help us. All the best! Deb in Colorado

Thanks Deb..I tried doxil it kept stable but after 6 cycle 2 month later ca 125 started rising they gave keytruda..let's see.it doesn't help .because ca 125 keeps rising but who knows soo confusing.its tricky marker..I feel good..overall..but they did tumor receptors for folate and it came negative..there is new drug which is in studies very promising but my tumor responded negative..God Bless you.Keep positive and live your moment
