We received several reports from the community this morning regarding transphobic comments beneath a post on the forum. The post and replies have therefore been deleted.
Our guidelines state: We don't tolerate racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, ageism or other forms of hate-speech or content that could be interpreted as such.
We also require: Your participation in the site should be with respect, honesty and in the spirit of supporting and learning from your fellow users.
The primary focus of the forum should remain support and information around ovarian cancer.
We ask that you follow the guidelines for the forum and also bear in mind the distress that can be caused to other members of the My Ovacome community when commenting on posts.
