Hickman line

Hi all, quite recently I inquired on here about portocath experience. I had one put in , it was great but it didn’t heal properly so was taken out only a few weeks later. So now I have a Hickman line on left side. It wasn’t a great experience having it inserted and a week later still hurts. It looks fine, works well but feels really tight over my clavicle - I’m quite bony! Did anyone else experience the same and did it improve, if so how long. It’s hard to stop thinking about and definitely stopping me doing my usual exercise. Thank you Charlotte x
