Welcome! Glad to hear you are going ok on chemo so far. Please ask if there’s anything you want to know..you can guarantee that someone on here will have experience to share. I was stage 4 in 2015…4 chemo rounds reduced my cancer so much I was able to have optimum debulking surgery… so it’s perfectly possible xx

Hi GoldeloxI’m a newbie a little bit further in my journey you’ve come to the right place wonderful group. I’m stage 3B I had my debulking hysterectomy April 2021 went pretty well followed by 6 Carbo/Treatments I finished in October my CA125 before surgery was 4300 only symptom I had was constipation since the end of treatment I’ve been hovering around 6. I really had no problems with chemo wired for a few days from the steroids then a bit tired. I did use the cooling cap I kept most of my hair buts it’s a commitment. I tried not too over read statistics the data is old and every persons journey is unique. It’s quite the journey but you’ve got this come here often for support. Faith of a Mustard Seed Prayers

Welcome to the group. I am sorry to hear about your diagnosis but you will get lots of support here as well as becoming very knowledgable. I was diagnosed stage 4 September 2021- I had 4 chemos, surgery and finished my last chemo last week. I am now continuing with 3 weekly Avastin and Olaporib tablets. The chemo has been working really well and brought my CA125 level down from nearly 4000 to double figures after 4 rounds. Good to hear you arent getting too many chemo side effects. My advice would be just get the balance right between rest and doing what you want to do. Xx

Hi goldelox.. Welcome to the group.. Everyone is lovely and supportive here, so I'm sure you'll find it a great resource. I was diagnosed last August with 3c which and told I was inoperable. After five chemos I become operable and even had a complete response with surgery in January, (after which they told me i was actually 4b). All residual disease has gone now. I'm sure there will be others who can give you similar good news stories to inspire you. You've got this! 😊 Xx wishing you all the best with your treatment.
