Ovarian Cancer clinical trial - ACTOv

Hi all,

I am a patient representative with UCL and Cancer Research UK, and I am currently involved in the ACTOv trial. They recently received a funding grant for the trial and I thought it would be good to share an article published to give an overview of the trial and what it aims to do.

I share this to raise hope and awareness of the potential advances being made in the treatment given. I haven't had a diagnosis of Ovarian Cancer myself, but I am a twice diagnosed patient myself- Wilms tumour in 1991 and Cervical adenocarcinoma in 2019, so finding out about new treatments on the trials I am involved with gives me hope for future patients.

The aim of ACTOv is to provide a more tailor made treatment. Please take a read of the article.

The trial is for "Patients With Relapsed Platinum-sensitive High Grade Serous or High Grade Endometrioid Ovarian Cancer". I had posted the link, above, to all information related to this trial.
