Since , its free for all Friday, I wanted to relate the story of Shera . She is a sixteen year old lioness at the Washington Zoo , She and about six other lions contracted Covid . Shera was going down hill daily , she stopped eating and drinking and had to be anesthetized in order to give her forced fluids . Her head keeper held a meeting with her other keepers and the vets to discuss whether to rouse her or not . It was decided to bring her around one more time .They woke her up and she seemed to be slightly better. Everyday , since she has continued to improve. I use her picture as a book mark , to me she has become a symbol of strength and tenacity. Just , keep plodding , along like Shera , things can change in the twinkling of an eye!!!!! !Gillian, Mookie Fox
