Recurring Ovarian Cancer
Sorry for the recurrence. Not many on here are on this new trial but they have previously been allocated to trials and they are doing well.

Keep strong and I hope DICE will target the new growth and gives you the desired results.
All published information about it can be found in the link clinicaltrials.gov/ct2/show... along with the participating locations
Keep strong.
All best wishes for success with whichever route you decide to take. I hope London is not too far from you to make that a possibility. It is a 300-mile 5 hour-plus journey for us, which I would find very daunting. I am a very very poor traveller and the thought of 5 hours of travel sickness after treatment is not good. But I do hope things go really really well for you x
Hi, sorry to hear your news. I was put on DICE in January, it wasn’t too bad and not really any side effects, certainly not worse than chemo. Unfortunately it hasn’t worked for me and I’ve been taken off it so hope you have more luck xx
If I were you wd do the trial. Good luck and hugs from france...altho am on vac in USA for a week
I'm so sorry to hear your cancer is back. I would definately go for the trial if I could. You will be having the standard taxol so the trial is a plus.
I understand you are very well looked after and closely monitored on trials so that should give you some confidence to give it a try.
Really hope if you do go for it you get positive results.
Will you let us know how you get on?
All the very best.
Liz. X
I’m so sorry you’ve had a recurrence.
If it’s easy for you to access it I’d certainly recommend taking part in the trial, taxol is a known quantity and hopefully the combination is really effective, the level of care is brilliant on a trial and the monitoring is really good + in no way are you treated like a guinea pig. I took part in one and would do it again should the need arise.
Good luck whichever way you go with this, stay safe and as well as you possibly can be. ❤️Jane Xx
