A few years ago I had a scan which told me I had a small cyst on my ovary. It didn’t cause much discomfort and was told it would be fine. I recently found out I was pregnant 5-6 weeks and over/maybe before this time I have been feeling pain it’s bearable but starting to cause me worry and seems to have worsen. My belly slightly swollen, constipation and I’m urinating a lot more! Even during the night and comes on suddenly, I read and seem to have most symptoms on ovarian cancer. Can someone help me?

Hello Ryaheath, I wouldn't hesitate to talk with your GP and if that isn't easy in these times, then talk things over with Ovacome support services on 0800 008 7054 or look through their website ovacome.org.uk/
But, please don't leave yourself with worries for longer than you need.
Contact your GP they should still be able to refer you to an oncologist if they have need to, these are pretty speedy referrals, aware with covid around but speak to your GP as soon as you can please.
Hi. I wouldn't ignore it but your symptoms could also be caused by pregnancy possibly. When I was pregnant I had a fibroid that grew with the pregnancy hormones and caused some problems. Although it does happen it is very rare for someone your age to have ovarian cancer. Nonetheless a transvaginal ultrasound would be a good idea just to be safe. xx
I advise anyone with abdominal pain and swelling to contact their GP asap for further investigation. Don't let them fob you off with antacid tablets etc. Don't leave it. It maybe something, it maybe nothing, but get it looked at.
