Ct scan results what happens

Ct scan today. My friend works in hospital and got me in sooner. How quick do u get results. Will they phone me write to me. Will they want to see me even if my results are clear. Was sent for ct scan after my ca125 went from 56 to 67. Haven been Diagnosed with anything except pcos. 2 ultrasounds where clear

It all depends on your hospital. Mine says up to 2 weeks to get results. I used to be given my results at my appointments with my oncologist, but when I had a scan in September, she phoned me. Your consultant should contact you, if you have one or otherwise whoever referred you. If you don't hear anything in a couple of weeks, then contact the radiology department and ask who the results have gone to, and then contact them. All the best. x
