Latest update on 3 weekly Taxol

Hi everyone,

Just had my latest CA125 results and they have fallen from 667 to 119 after two rounds of 3 weekly Taxol. Hope it is a sign of things to come with scan result in two weeks time.

Consultant seems pleased.

Side effects of treatment quite tolerable, bowel and bladder causing the most problems.

Feel a bit more energetic and eating well. Seem to have lost a lot of the bloating and feel more comfortable.

Seeing consultant beginning of December to discuss scan etc, a change from telephone consultation!

Good to hear your news. Very encouraging for me as I am playing catch up. I have just had 2 shots of weekly chemo. No side effects so far. Hope my ca125 will go down like yours. Good luck with the rest of your treatment and keep posting on here so I can know what to expect.

Really surprised at the drop in CA125. Hope you have a similar response.

Guess the scan is the ultimate proof that at last something is working.

Will be thinking if you Monday when I start my next treatment after my week off.

Hair starting to look very thin so wig might have to come out again.
