So sorry to hear that you haven’t got your sickness under control. Did you manage to get hold of your nurse?
Hi Lockygill
Did they not give you anti sickness meds, remember you saying you had been given only a few, also try mint tea to try and settle the stomach, also contact your emergency team no matter what time it is and let them know, as dehydration is problematic. Hope you get a fix for the nausea soon ...wishing you luck and hoping it gets sorted asap.
I’m so sorry. It sounds miserable. Maybe your team can prescribe additional anti nausea drugs? I’m sure they don’t want you suffer like this. ❤️
Can you have some anti sickness patches?
When I couldnt get mine under control once with oral meds I was put on a driver with cyclizine. The same med I was on orally but with a driver it delivered a constant measured dose. Nausea is so dibilitating and I so feel for you. Worth asking about having a driver xx Kathy xx
How horrid, my heart goes out to you. Like others have said, get back in touch with either the nurse or call the emergency line. I was told there’s a myriad of drugs they can use. It may be you need an infusion or injection to stop it and then they can get the mix right to stop this being an ongoing issue for you. X
Hi,
Last year went on driver for a month after uncontrolled sickness, sorted it out very well from the sickness point of view . Word of caution if they suggest holoperidol, it stopped the sickness well but I went bonkers !!! Later found out it’s used as a antipsychotic with the side effect of controlling sickness.
I really hope you get help soon constant sickness is the most debilitating experience
Best wishes
Jennifer
I developed real sickness issues with Caelyx and they started to give me something called Netupitant/Palonsetron. 1 capsule, one hour before chemo infusion. Worked wonders and supposedly lasts for 5 days.
Hopefully your team will soon get it under control. They will not be wanting you to suffer this way. X
I’m so sorry you are suffering so. Don’t know what anti nausea meds you are on. I just finished my second chemo and my oncologist told me to take ondansetron 8 mg tablet (generic for ZOFRAN). I was told to take it every eight hours for 48 hours after chemo. Then can stop if I feel okay. So far the protocol has worked. I hope it keeps working as I continue my chemo. Sure hope you feel better soon.
Best wishes from Louisiana

The only thing that ever wirked for me was Levomeprozine. Knowing what I know now I wish I had asked for a driver rather than suffer the way I did.
In my sister’s case , even pantoprazole worked....ask your doc
I was on cyclizine post-op until the nurse accidentally pulled out the cannula. My dad had it too. Have you had any luck re drivers and so on? I've been told I will only get enough anti-sickness meds for two days after my chemo - doesn't seem like long. I mean why don't they just give you more in case you need it?
Hope you feel better.
