Morning 😄. I was thinking I was a bit absent. I've had a few hospital admissions and been feeling rough. My bowel is partially blocked near the exit of the stomach and it's taking ages to digest food despite a fair few meds to see it on its way. Next step is a venting gastronomy so they've told me. Not looking forward to that! I'm doing OK though and we're away in the caravan making the most of things. Our last trip was interrupted with a dash back to where we live to attend A&E - don't want to put local Welsh services under pressure. Good job it's not too far.

So yes, I'm having mini adventures and spending time with my lovely family.

So all in all, I can't complain. Take good care. Thank you for thinking of me. Sandra 💐😘

Glad you finally got out to your caravan. You said you would, good for you by. I've been looking enviously at the narrow boats going by and thinking that that's good way to get a change of scenery. Unfortunately I don't own one and I gather they are quite popular atm. Maybe September/October. 🤗 Take care. Jackie x

On chemo atm with a few issues but hoping to get them sorted soon and then there wil be no stopping me; then it will definitely be a case of carpe diem 😀

Hi Sandra, it's lovely to get away for a few days isn't it. We took our Motorhome to the East Coast a couple of weeks ago. It was scary being away from home but worth it. We avoided the beach area and parked on the cliffs during the day. Our caravan site is really small and private. My little family joined us on the cliff top and brought fish and chips. Amazing how we appreciate the smaller things in life these days isn't it! Bowel blockage is nasty and the gastronomy isn't too bad but make sure you have sedation.

Hi there,

Did not mean to scare anyone. I am still around, but I don’t like to post unless I have something important to ask or convey.

And I only offer my advice, if it’s needed and the ladies in this forum have really been doing a good job advising each other.

I do have news, but I am waiting for a scan this week and a discussion with my Oncologist, so I won’t be posting til next weekend.

Hope everyone is doing the best they can.
