Thank you for all your replies and support after my bowel obstruction and addition of ileostomy bag.

I’m home now and slowly recovering. I’m still trying to get my head round it and having quite a few blips here and there. Not going to lie, there was days when I really didn’t want to carry on but I’m trying to take each day as it comes and tick it off. Husband has been great and even asked to look at it when I came home. CT scan showed small lesion on spleen and liver as well which nurse said was very minimal, which honestly freaked me out again. So clips out Monday and just waiting then for app for onc to see about starting chemo has had been previously planned. You are all wonderful brave women and I’m in awe of you all, wish I had some of your strength.

Bless your heart. You’ve been through so much, no wonder you feel like you do.

You are just as strong as all on here.

What is good, all the ladies on here have more understanding than most about what you’re going through.

Please be kind to yourself & give yourself time to heal ( both physically & mentally). After all you’ve only just had major surgery.

One day at a time. You’ll get there.

Thank you for your reply. I feel like each battle that comes I could give in. I’m usually quite upbeat but I’m mentally and physically wrecked.

Your right I will take it one day at a time, trying to adjust to the new me again and my friend.
