Rising CA125

Gone from 13 to 43 since January does that mean back to chemo after scan. Stage 4b inoperable.

Hi. It's not always cancer that causes the CA125 to rise, and often they wait to see if this increase is maintained.

My blood number has also increased and I am waiting to go back on chemo soon. It's not what we look forward to, but very few of us get away with just one course of treatment.

Hi. I notice you got only one reply. Since this is three weeks old I hope you’ve talked to your oncologist by now. Hopefully you’ve had a scan or are scheduled to have one. My CA 125 is always low so I have to go by scans. Keep us posted on your situation. Xx

Hi Delia

I had the scan last week I have bloods on 1 July and consultant appointment for results on 8 July. So it's lots of waiting and keep taking the pain killers. Thank you. Hope you keep well.
