No appetite
I'm so sorry, that's a tough problem to have. I'm going to suggest some things that I was able to eat at the worst times - ice pops, bananas, grapes (frozen is good), crackers, good old white toast, rice pudding, custard. Things that are bland and go down easily. You might also try canned nutrition drinks like Boost or Ensure. Gatorade or whatever sports drink you can easily find can also be good to support your electrolytes. I hope this is helpful and that you get past this soon! Best wishes! Deb in Colorado
No advice as such , but I wanted to say I have been on Olaparib for past 5 months , felt generally ‘ off ` for first three , the tired and nausea a bit tricky . Easiest way was to eat little and often , plus loads of water . But people on here said it should get better and it has ! Last night I was out for the first time in weeks ( social distancing and 2 people only) and felt normal . Even dancing a bit !!!! So I’m not sure if same for Avastin but I hope it will be for you. Oh and again not sure about Avastin but maybe dosage could be adjusted ?????
Best wishes

I’m also on PARP inhibitors and was sent the ‘extremely vunerable’ letter advising shielding. I felt quite well but decided to shield. I’m really struggling not seeing my family. Missing dancing and swimming too.
I agree about eating a little often and what you fancy... even if that is just ice cream. Don’t forget you can ask for anti sickness meds if they help xx
