Thank you everyone for your replies to my previous post. I decided at the very last minute to go to the show. I wore latex gloves and asked the box office staff if there were any seats available in the balcony, explaining that I was in chemo. The manager came and thanked me for coming despite my low immunity and offered us brilliant seats in the balcony which had been returned. There were only 6 of us in the curtained off section and no one coughed or sneezed.
The show was brilliant and I haven't laughed so much in ages. I'm so glad that I went. It really cheered me up after my awful week last week.
Thank you lovely ladies for your advice.

I am so pleased to hear that you went. I believe in mini adventures to get us through coping with this disease. The laughter and the treat of posh seats will have given you a real boost. Good decision Sian! Xx
Hi Sian, I m so glad you made it to the theatre and had a brilliant ( and safe) good time. I’ve seen some of Fascinating Aida online and think they’re hilarious; I love a good swear!
I think with the way this virus is progressing, it’s a good idea to do things now, as opposed to later because I imagine we’ll be stuck in for a good while now.
Thanks Denise. I agree completely. During the interval the group found out that their next show in Glasgow had been cancelled due to Covid19. They didn't know whether their Cheltenham show would be their last one on the tour. They hadn't performed for 5 years after Adele had gone through cancer treatment and this tour was meant to be celebratory. Damned Coronavirus!!
On a lighter note they were delightfully posh and sweary in equal measure and I cried with laughter. Xxxx
Oh Sian, they sounded just what the doctor ordered as the saying goes! Thank goodness you got to see them before the cancellations had to come in!
It’s a real shame that this darned virus has messed up everything for the coming months, so extra good that you got in while it was still safe and had some much deserved fun!
Excellent Sian, we all need a little light relief at the moment don’t we? So glad you went and enjoyed yourself, laughing is really good medicine. Well done to the theatre manager for helping you.
I went to see Pretty Woman last week. Was just careful and wore gloves. It’s tricky with low immunity but life goes on around us and it’s a shame to miss out x
