Hi Jonich,

I don't think Trametinib is available in GB as yet. Still a relatively new drug and it has to go through all the formalities of NICEetc. and there's the question of whether NICE would agree to fund it! Hopefully they will. Quite a number of us on this site, particularly with low grade oc are awaiting it and hoping it is good news. Best wishes. Gwen x

I’ve been on it for nearly 4yrs now & my side effects were all skin related, but if you get the chance to take this drug I would & stick with it, mine were really bad to start with it’s not until you look back photos you realise how bad, but they reduced my dose & I have been coping for nearly 4 yrs now. I think my body is saying....well she’s gonny keep taking this drug so we’re as well getting used to it. Lol. Stay strong

Hi, this is what is recommended for me too, thanks guys for sharing about skin issues, we'll wait and see what happens to me, I'm hoping I can have it without having to have chemo again for the 3rd time - please please
