Headache whit Avastin infusion

I had my first Avastin infusion and have headache every day.Is this normal?

Could be linked to high blood pressure which is a side effect. Definitely worth mentioning before yr next infusion x

My headaches were high blood pressure. The Christie asked me to monitor my own blood pressure, so I bought a machine. I then received medication for my blood pressure and now I don’t have the bad heads.

I’ve been on Avastin for 7 months and have managed quite well. My joints are sore and I may have the odd sick day, but nothing really.

I had minor headaches which I found manageable, but my friend had debilitating pain throughout taking Avastin. As she was a teacher it was difficult, but I think she got medication that helped.

Yes I had headaches on Avastin, my blood pressure went up so I’d get that checked x

I had my first infusion two weeks ago and now have daily headaches which I did not before the infusion. I also got a blood pressure machine and it's holding below the numbers they told me to call with should it get too high. But maybe just having it raised a bit (which it is) is causing the headaches, not sure. Possibly a side effect, with or without raised blood pressure. My onc said 140 as the top number is when I need to call, and mine is not up there yet. Wishing you luck getting relief! oxox Judy

First check your blood presure.

I used to have very bad headache and I treid different pain medications, only one worked for me Sumatropam.

Once I took only a 1/2 the pain was gobe like magic
