Sincere thanks to all the lovely ladies on this forum who responded so generously to my appeal for help last week. I have been much encouraged by the replies and will be following up all the suggestions. The update is that I am

now to have an MRI next Saturday, no word yet from my oncologist but my GP has promised to look out for the results and come to see me to discuss them. This morning I went to my local

Hospice for a reflexology session followed by a counselling session. So I have got to the stage where I am slowly climbing out of the big black hole. Thank you all again for your understanding, kindness and support. It has been invaluable. Hoping you’re all as well as possible. With love Carolyn x🌸

Carolyn, it brings me great relief to know we have been able to help you. This forum is filled with the positive, knowing energy of people who understand the emotional rollercoaster of OC. 😊❤🧝‍♀️

I'm finding this group really lovely too. I've been on the forum a few years and it went through a phase where a lot of people felt like strangers because we had lost a few big posters on here. It's back to feeling like a family again. 😊 Xx

It's soul crushing when a woman succumbs from this cruel disease. I'm grateful my family is grown. My heart breaks for young mothers desperate to raise their children. I am committed to sharing information hoping to help alleviate other womens' fear, pain or despair. 💜🍀💗

Carolyn, I too have had a breast cancer and ovarian cancer diagnosis within 18 months. It sends you reeling. I am convinced now, from what I understand tumour profiling is a really good way forward. It is available on the nhs but of course they will only be focussing on tumour characteristics that they can treat with NICE recommended drugs. I understand Roche have a tumour profiling kit recently developed and of course there is oncologica too. Wishing you the very best of luck and please let us know how you get on, Zsu
