Hi, are you referring to the CA125 blood test?

Dear Clara,

You are on the right path for diagnosis.

Try to relax and wait for your appointment.

Once you have the facts, you will be in a better position to discuss options.

Meanwhile, treat your wife to a night out, wine and dine and try to relax.

Best wishes,

Laura

Normal is up to 36 but it’s not a clear diagnostic tool. Mine was 8 when I was diagnosed.

Hi Ciara, it depends on what the tests are for? Or what tests?

If they’ve done a ca125 test, then over 35 is unusual, but it also is not definite as many things like inflammation and infection can push the numbers higher.

Keep us posted and good luck, Nicky
