New choir in West Yorkshire

Hi, I hope this post is allowed.

I wanted to tell you about a new choir being set up by Macmillan. It is for any cancer patient and their carer or family.

We meet every 2nd Wednesday, the next one being the 31st August.

We meet from 4pm at the chapel in the entrance of Huddersfield Royal Infirmary, and start with coffee, tea and a chat. The singing is very informal, we sang "Yesterday" and "Thank You For The Music" at the last session.

You don't have to be able to read music, it's just a nice get together, with a bit of singing!

Macmillan are going to trial it for a couple of months to gauge interest, so please come and give it a try, we finished at about 5.30, but people left when they needed to. I felt uplifted and relaxed when the session finished, so definitely a reason to go!

Let me know if you want any more information, and I should have said, it's free to participate! X
