This is one rare diagnosis that doctors are very confused by. Please let me know if you have been diagnosed with this. It is so rare in the PubMed literature that I can only find a handful of reports. Since none of my doctors can truly say what to do, I am not accepting chemo or any other therapy at present. I am 69, Stage 1 and no grade determined. I have had excellent de-bulking surgery and the cancer was contained in one ovary which did not break open during surgery. Everything was removed and my CA-125 markers are staying at about 15. I am using Dr. William Li's book "Eat to Beat Disease" as a guide to anti-angiogenic foods to starve off any new tumors. I would love to hear from anyone else with this experience.

Hi,
Although this sounds like you have had a very weird and troubling experience, it looks to me that you have everything in hand - and your outlook seems great
You are right about this being an unusual cancer, as it should be cervical in origin, but cancer takes some surprising forms and at least yours had been removed successfully.
The Dr Li diet is definitely the way to go. It certainly can’t hurt. I try to follow it as much as possible.
Keep positive.
Best wishes,
Laura
Thanks Laura, for the positive reply. I sure hope it has indeed been completely removed. Of course, I realize this is not to be taken for granted. My self-imposed and doctor-approved regimen of getting tumor markers once a month and a scan of appropriate type based on tumor markers whenever needed, should help monitor the situation. I have had a Foundation One analysis to help point to newly approved therapies and clinical trials. Still, it would be great to hear from anybody out there with the same diagnosis.
