Blood test.

Hi ladies,not been on for a while l have been stable for 14 months but getting a few grumbles in tummy,i have high grade mucinous carcinoma stage 3c ,and a sister mary joseph nodgel in my belly buttom.i have to go for a ct scan but i have to have a blood test done first,,they said it's a new ue test has any one else had it.keep fighting all many thanks .shortie 38.x

Hi Not heard of that .... did they elaborate what the 'ue' stood for ? I wonder if they meant U&E which is for Kidney function and not new?

No,but i got my blood test fone at my gp i asked the nurse she said it was new to make sure everything is ok before a ct scan.x

That would be the kidney function test. They always make certain your kidneys can secrete the contrast dye they have to use.
