All done today! CA125 was up slightly (14 to 19) but trying not to stress!

CT booked for 6th and then doc 10th to hopefully start on parps.

Keep your fingers crossed for me!

Well down on finishing chemo, it’s a great feeling! Your CA125 is really low so I’m sure all will be well, keep the faith and I’m sending you tons of luck and fingers crossed for your scan results, now time to breathe a bit easier and relax if you can 🤗

Big hugs,

Liz Xx 💖

Hi there,

I am having my sixth infusion of Carbo Caelyx on Monday.

All systems are go, with my CA-125 at 15.

Planning to start Niraparib in April.

Can you give us a bio of your disease journey, in your profile?

It helps us all to understand how we all cope.

Are you BRCA positive?

Thanks for posting your good news,

Laura

I keep my fingers, legs and eyes all crossed for you. I am on the same regime, have 2 infusions left. Not to many side effects just extreme fatigue. The not knowing if it works is a killer.

I wish you all the very best with the outcome. Liz

Thank you lovely. Side effects are ok, 1st week wipes me out but I pick up after that. Hope all goes well for you too, god luck with the next 2. I had a CT after the 3rd and things were shrinking and CA125 was coming down (only after the 3rd) so this week’s was a bit of a stress but not long until the next CT!

Keep going and smiling 😊 xxx

Hi,

Great news.

My CT is booked for the 8th of April, so I am just behind you.

I have much later Inc appointment, confusingly two of them, the 18th and the 23rd.

I think one is the winding up of the Carbo/Caelyx regimen and the next is the start of the Niraparib.

Can’t help but worry about side effects, but crossing that bridge when I come to it...

Best of luck for you too,

Laura

Thank you. I have had a messsge today to get there 1/2 hour earlier, so that now makes a 1.5 hour appointment! A little anxious over it right now but will be glad to get the CT over and done with. Good luck, I’ll keep you posted xx
