Hi

I did post an update last week but it’s been so busy here I’m a long way down the list. I’ve heard from Kryssy but not Lorraine so will nudge her.

I’m not so good right now. The plan is to go to hospital tomorrow. I don’t want to go but am struggling to wee. Right leg huge and need help to lift it. DVT ruled out. Grey roots gone but still have steroid moon face. I’m rather scared about the idea of a catheter which needs a surgeon because of bladder tumour and it may be a permanent feature. Got the worse back ache and feel sorry for myself

Hi. Regrettably, Lorraine passed away this morning. Her daughters and I were with her and she was sufficiently sedated that she was not in pain. I know that she has derived great comfort and support from many of you on this site and she always turned to it first thing every day, so many thanks to all of you on her behalf. I'm not familiar with the workings of this site so please pass this message on to anyone who might be interested.

I am so very upset to read this. Lorraine and I had become very close and although I knew things weren’t good I’m still shocked. Sending you all my condolences
