I am 3 months post chemo for 1c endometrioid oc. I have had an ache in my groin/thigh for a few months but had a ct scan at end of July which was clear. Onc says could be adhesions or side effects of chemo. The pain isn’t constant but today is also going down my thigh. Has anyone had this? What can I do to relieve the pain?
Thanks

Just a note that groin/thigh pain can be the first sign on a hip problem. That is where the pain first starts. I had that and went to a hip doc who, upon taking x-rays, told me its arthritis and won't get better (thank you very much). He gave me some things to do to stop the pain and it mostly does not rear its head anymore (no hip replacement for me!). I am not saying this is what is wrong with you but when you have OC (or cancer) sometimes the docs can overlook other ailments that are unrelated. Just make sure you cover all bases and make sure that's not what it is.

A hip affected by inflammatory arthritis will feel painful and stiff. There are other symptoms, as well: A dull, aching pain in the groin, outer thigh, knee, or buttocks. Pain that is worse in the morning or after sitting or resting for a while, but lessens with activity.
I have this pain from time to time now but when I took neulasta, it was terribly painful - I took one hot shower after the other yo relieve the pain. I was told to try Claritin allergy pills and it helped tremendously.
