Hello All

I thought you would be interested to know that the Scottish Medicines Consortium have agreed to make Niraparib available as a maintenance treatment for women with relapsed ovarian cancer who do not have a BRCA mutation.

Their statement is here: scottishmedicines.org.uk/ab...

It is good that this drug is coming on board again and I hope people who have been waiting for it get it now. Wishing for it in Ireland too

Hello Angie-69

In England NICE have approved it under the Cancer Drugs Fund for women with relapsed high grade serous, platinum sensitive cancer. So if you thought this could apply to you, you would need to discuss it with your consultant who could then make an application to the Cancer Drugs Fund on your behalf.

Best wishes
