Bleeding stents

I have bilateral ureter stents in other words I have a stent in each ureter from the kidney to the bladder. They are called seven French 28 which means 7 is the diameter and 28 is the length which is 28 cm. The first year I had no issues with bleeding. All of a sudden in the last couple months I have bleed constantly that annoying pink in the urine. My uroligist tells me that that is normal with the stents. I neglected to mention that I am a cancer patient and the reason I need the stents is from all the radiation I received to kill cancer. My stents are changed every 3 months and they use Propofol instead of general anesthesia which makes it much easier on everything. I hope this makes you feel better regarding your bleeding.
