HI ladies just a short post I have not answered my post on passed out on the toilet I ended up in hospital with shingle on my face and the pain in my eyes

Thank you Bev ,Yes it was painful it's eased a bit , do take to your DR about the Vaccination,as we ladies can be at risk with our low immune system if you have the virus.

I do hope you can shake the shingles quickly - it is so unpleasant. I got shingles triggered by the start of my second line of chemo - apparently the shock of the drugs can trigger the virus to come out of its hiding places in the nervous system, so maybe your recent treatment has done the same for you. Hope you will feel better soon, Lorraine. I believe there are some newly approved vaccines on the market which could help prevent a future shingles attack. You would need to check with you med team though if any of those are an option for you.

Really sorry to hear about the shingles. I will echo Maus about the vaccines. I had one when I turned 60 prior to my diagnosis for OC. My mother had them and they are horribly painful. Not to worry about responding to messages just now.

So sorry to hear this. It's one thing after another, isn't it? Shingles is such a horrible thing. My poor 96 year old mother in law had it earlier this year and really struggled.

Hope you feel a bit better soon and it doesn't interfere too much with your treatment x
