Pain after chemo

Hi all

I was diagnosed in January this year with 1c endometrioid ovarian cancer. I had no symptoms & it was picked up on a routine scan for something else. I had surgery & 6 rounds of carbo/taxol. I had the last chemo last week & the past day or two I’ve noticed stinging pain around my ribs, pubic bone area. I also have a throbbing sort of where my ovaries would be if you know what I mean. It’s not constant & seems to be on both sides (although not at the same time). Has anyone had this? Worrying that the stinging is a sign that the cancer hasn’t gone (even though last week my ca125 was normal).

I’d be grateful for any advice xxx

Hi Lottie. Maybe you could ask for a scan? And see what your oncologist thinks about the pain. Could just be post chemo niggles. All the best. Maus

Hi Lottie,

Call the oncologist's nurse and tell her what you're experiencing (if you haven't already done so). I've found they've been very helpful to me.

Best wishes,

Nancy
