Stoma with an hernia

Hope someone can help me I have a stoma and an hernia with it I had Bowel cancer 11 years a go

I got on lovely for 8 years then I found out that I had this hernia

But the last few years but mostly this past 6 months I have got worse

Pain bloating felling so unwell

I try to eat but I no if I do I will be in a lot pain

So I don’t

I get constipation a lot and cry with the pain My doctor as gave me tablets all sorts to help me but the pain is so bad I don’t no what to do

And to top that I have sores from where my belly swells up and stretches the skin

I hope someone as can help me

This sounds very uncomfortable indeed.

But this is a forum with women with ovarian cancer and, though some of us have hernias, stomas or bloating as a result of this cancer, it probably isn't as helpful a site as a bowel cancer one would be. Perhaps you could also ask for a referral to see if the hernia can be fixed, as you seem to date problems from then.
