Probably benign omental nodularities in the anterior abdomen,

probably representing nodules appreciated under ultrasound scan,

stable, probably benign etiology what is this and what does this mean

I don’t know sarahita1980 but you can ask them to explain and keep asking until you are happy you understand. If you have a CNS start there...ring tomorrow don’t sit there worrying xx

Well it sounds like they've seen nodularities at the back of the abdomen on the omentum, or whatever's left of it if you've had surgery, which are benign in appearance, which are likely the nodules seen during the ultrasound scan. They're 'stable' which might mean they're not doing anything or changing, and most likely of benign origin. That word 'benign' is critical... but you need to ask for a layman's explanation cos although I'm interpreting it that way, they may have either a clearer or different explanation.
