Omg I am going around in circles and getting nowhere fast with travel insurance.
Going to Turkey early June for 2 weeks but the cheapest travel insurance quote I’ve had is £750 😡😡.
The minute you state your cancer is still there the price rockets. I had ovarian but it’s now peritoneal don’t know if this the reason.
I know this has been discussed before but I can’t find any reference to it now. If anyone can be of assistance I would be most grateful as I am very worried about travelling without insurance as I have excruciating back pain probably from caelyx.
Love to all, Maggie xx

Hi, I also have ppc .finished 2nd line carbo/Carly most gone and remainders shrunk, now on Nirapamib. Went with Boots and for myself my husband with a dodgey bladder and my daughter who has current ulcerative colitis came to under £300 for 10 says in Mauritus in July. Did it over phone very helpful staff. Hope you have a great time x
I echo Harpist - Eurotunnel, you don't have to be travelling with them but they only cover Europe, so be sure to check if you are not going into the Asian part of Turkey. To give you an idea, my premium for 11 days to Gozo was £24.
They don't need to know what's wrong with you, as long as your doctor considers you're fit to travel and that you're not terminal (incurable is not the same as terminal).
I've used them twice now and also cover my husband with his stroke related problems. Give them a call.
I tried their website but could not access anything? The drop down menu only asking you if you were going on a train journey with them? Do you guys have a link at all? Thank you xx
I have just got annual worldwide insurance (well, I have a rather long bucket list!) from Insurancewith. And for family of 4 it was just over £400. I had to answer over about 40 plus questions on me!
Ive used Boots on a few occasions over past two years but earlier in the year they wouldn’t quote me, said they had made some internal changes and to ring back June as I wasn’t travelling until August. (I,’m currently NED) I posted same question as you on this site and like above comments was recommended Eurotunnel. It was so much easier than Boots, just had to answer 4 questions. Just over £50 for a family of 4 for a week. Hope you can sort it and have a fab holiday, ☀️☀️Xx
Thanks for the info Neona, I’m also on a clinical trial (Trametinib) tried to get insurance & was told I’m uninsurable becaus of trial & wait for it they said if I was terminal they would be able to insure me ok. X
