Quick update she had her CA125 last month and it had gone from 16 to 60, we weren’t deflated as something didn’t seem right because her CA125 goes from 16 to 600 or something stupid so she got put on watch and wait still on Niraparib and so far 9 months with no IV treatment anyway CA125 yesterday and is down to 45, but we’ve come up with a theory for that as she was in hospital over the weekend with constipation but all good 😊 so watch and wait for another month xxx

Hi, Thank you for the update all ways good to hear how your special person is going ,sound like she is doing ok and the Niraparib is keeping it in check.
Hey Mum! I'm glad your special person is running smoother these days, and that her CA125 is on a downward trend! I do blood for my CA125 tomorrow for my appt. next week. I think this test is somewhat of a mystery. About 12 years ago (a solid 11 BEFORE anything cancer) a doctor did a CA125 on me to diagnose a problem. A big no-no, but the point being that it came back in the high 30's out of the range of normal. Now I have 2 primary cancers (Ovarian & Colon) and my last CA125 was 12! So, I'm not sure I get it. I keep thinking that if my next one comes back high I won't panic because it's been higher when I supposedly healthy and lower when I am supposedly not. Be interested in any insight into this test, what it really means when it fluctuates, blah, blah, blah. All the best to you both!
Hi both. Good news. It can only get better and I really hope it does. You know how much I want good things for you both so don't disappoint me, or else I'll come and Oompa Loompa you !!! Big love and hugs xxxxxxxx
It doesn't sound like alarms should be sounding--the rise is small and just went down so the watch and wait, although probably not so easy, its the best thing to do right now. Fingers crossed it's a glitch and she's back to normal range next test. Continued luck!
I am well, girlfriend! Just had 4 rounds and going back for 2 more. For some reason, I feel great. Been eating all that my body is telling me it craves and it shows. lol. Someone at work actually did say to me, "I thought you were supposed to lose weight when you have cancer?" I told him that I would send him home to his mother limping if he didn't change his lingo. lol. How's that from a crazy Italian response?
I am thinking of you and send my warmest and positive energy to you, my friend. I KNOW you will do this. So much easier doing it with lovely company such as yourself.
